<p>I frequently see people EDing here and there, but I just don’t know wuts so special about ED that makes people wanna write an essay/fill out all the application junk in the beginning of their senior year. What r the guidelines for ED and where should I ED to?</p>
<p>By applying ED, the college knows that they are your first choice and it often increases an applicant’s chances for admission. Also, if you do get in, then you don’t have to apply anywhere else or fill out any other applications. Even though they will ask for a first semester report from your school after you may be admitted, the admissions decision will not include any senior year grades. If you think you’ve had good enough grades up until that point and you have nothing else you need to show the college, applying ED is a really good idea. Much less stress for the rest of senior year.</p>
