<p>In some cases it depends on the colleges you are applying to and when you plan to apply to the college. For private universities on the Common App the November SAT seems to be the latest for ED and the January SAT seems to be the latest for RD.</p>

<p>It depends on the schools application closing date. Applying early would be best depending on the school so taking in October would actually be ideal. But like I said, depending on where you want to go November would probably be better</p>
<p>One of my friends actually took it in January of her senior year. She said that the college agreed to take her score that late. It really does depend on which college you’re applying to but I’d advise you to take it earlier so you won’t have to stress about test dates as much toward the completion/submission of your entire application. Try Oct/Nov.</p>
