What's the best I can do?

What colleges do you think I can get into (examples of safteys, targets, reaches)? Specifically, ED for Penn school of engineering. Honestly, I have no idea. I’m hoping my high ACT score will up the caliber of schools I can apply to.

bump…

Well, Penn seems a bit of a reach, but not an impossible one. I would still apply.
Also, based on your stats you might want to consider these schools also…
NYU
BU
Emerson
UNC-Chapel Hill
UVA
Carnegie Mellon
Villanova
UMD

Oh, and definitely only submit your ACTs if you can. They will really outshine your SATs.

Thank you so much!

if you are going for engineering, go for harvey mudd. it’s right outside of Los Angeles.

bumppppppppp

Daniel8547, your ACT score is impressive.
agree with sak, NYU most definitely. Mix in a few ivies (cornell, penn).

You have a good shot at a lot of schools like previous posters mentioned. But, for your extra curriculars, you said you had a whole bunch of other clubs and you listed a whole bunch already. That may come off to an admissions officer as someone who dabbled in a bunch of stuff just to get noticed rather than taking the time to develop interest in a few things. That may not be the case, but its something to consider.

Good luck!
