BTW I don’t know anything about the ACT so any other tips would help. I took the SAT already btw.

if your smart enough to get a perfect score then you don’t need a book.

i guess princeton review is good

You can only get a perfect score if you’re smart. A book won’t help. Get the official book, with the official practice tests to familiarize yourself with the format and types of questions. if you are smart enough, you will get a 36.

-_- (10 char)

The Real ACT Prep guide…It’s been the most helpful book for me.

I’d say you need the Bible. 1.2 million people took the ACT last year and 216 got a 36.

lots of smart people prep…and you don’t have to be really smart… cause a prep book teaches you the skills you need, and after learning them… you are good to go… after all most ppl at my school refer to the ACT as “common sense stuff you learn in school”… but the SAT… as “reasoning stuff you don’t learn”

Wrong. Stupid people can get 36’s, too. But you are correct that a book won’t help… unless of course it’s a book full of practice tests. Just practice, practice, practice, and you’ll get a 36 (though, obviously, you can get a 36 without practice–like I should have).

barron’s is annoying. id go for the real ACT book (the red one)
