What are the best schools for double majoring in ** Anthropology ** and ** International Studies /b??

I’d like to stay in the East, not too pricey, but good reputation (and hopefully good FA).

Thanks

Most schools that are known for international studies should work because you could focus on Middle Eastern Studies. Middlebury, Tufts, Johns Hopkins are great choices if you have the stats. George Washington with slightly lower stats. Not too pricey is another issue, though. When you research schools, check whether they have international studies or just relations and then look how the major is structured. At Middlebury, for example, there is one international studies intro. course and then majors have to choose a region, a language and a substantive specialty like anthropology, political science, literature etc.

Also, look for schools with little to no core curriculum. Schools with large core curriculums (is that the correct plural?) may make it difficult for you to complete a double major, and thus if you’re devoted to the idea of double-majoring as it appears you are, such schools aren’t worth it regardless of whether they fit your other criteria.
