whats the best university i can get into, i’ve taken ap/honors courses since i was a freshman, i didn’t do well in any of them, practically failed, i have a cumaltive gpa of 2.3 and i’ve passed all my ap tests with a 3, which are ap us, ap calc ab, ap chem, and ap lit, i’m about to start my senior year, and am interested in knowing what schools i can get into in southern california w/o having to go to a community college

UC-Irvine? Depends on your other stats (activities, SAT, etc.).

I doubt you will get into UC Irvine with a 2.3 GPA.

The best UCs are probably Merced and Riverside.

well i play tennis, tutor once a week, and work at analytical laboratory, would i really be able to get into a UC?

Sadly, you will not be able to get into a UC.
A GPA of 3.0 is the minimum for admission, but actual eligibility is predicated on a combination of GPA and test score that are indexed. The charts are on their Web site.

Do check out many of the very wonderful schools in the CSU system. Their admissions are indexed according to a GPA/SAT formula as well, but tend to be more forgiving…

what was your SAT score?

why did you take hard classes if you were practically failing

'm sure you can get into some of the cal states, try LA and long beach
