<p>What methods helps with finding answers in the text easily?</p>
<p>There isn’t really a trick to it, but sometimes it depends on what the question is asking. Critical reading questions usually either pertain to a very specific part of the text or to the tone of the text in general. If it only asks about a specific thing, like, “What does the word ‘blank’ mean in line 3?” then you can usually save yourself a couple of seconds by just quickly looking at the word and its context rather than reading the whole passage up to that point. Other than that, you just have to really pay attention when you’re reading.</p>
<p>I disagree – there is a trick to it. Find WRONG answers, and eliminate them. This is much easier to do based on the ETS’ track record of never making answers too extreme, racist, or “outside the box” designated in the question. Try working it backwards this way, eliminate the wrong, and you’re left with the right. Try it!</p>
