Whats the difference?????

Whats the difference between " At the center" and “In the center.” arent both grammatically correct?

If you are talking about idiom errors, it depends on the word in front of the prepositional phrase.

Like, I know I would say, “Im in the center of the room”. But would I say, “Im at the center of the list”? Or is it “Im in the center of the list”?

And… Do I put question marks, periods etc. before or after quotation marks. “I am Lobzz”. vs “I am Lobzz.” what if im quoting someone. This is for the SAT essay btw.

At the center of the list. You could be at the top of the list, you could be at the bottom of the list, you could be at the center of the list. It depends on the context.

As for the quotes, it depends on who’s ending the sentence, you or the person being quoted. How about some examples.

I stood on my desk and told the entire class “I am Lobzz.”

I wore a t-shirt that says “I am Lobzz”.

A couple more:

The teacher said, “That shirt is ridiculous.”

Not caring for that remark, I “flipped her the bird”.
