What's the easiest major that gets you a paycheck after you graduate?

Thanks guys.

What’s easy for one person is not easy for another. Very subjective. I suggest thinking about your interests and speaking with a high school guidance counselor.

Depends on the school, too. Business at a lower tier CSU will be much less rigorous than UC Berkeley Haas, for example.

Study something you’re genuinely interested in.

You don’t need a degree to earn a paycheck. What’s easiest for you might not lead to a lucrative career. Listen to @calla1, figure out what your interests are.

one that you enjoy so you don’t consider it work

computer science, Finance, Accounting, basically any majors with Math/Science. Stay away from Arts if money is your criterion.

There are jobs out there that guarantee a paycheck without any degree at all. Anyplace from Home Depot to JC Penney to McDonalds are all hiring. Put in your time, do well, and you can work your way up to a very respectable salary, perhaps a management position.

Beyond that, though, I’m not sure I would hire anyone whose basis for choosing a major was “easiest way to a paycheck.”

This reminded me of something that was all too familiar when I started college and met some classmates. Some of the young ladies were sent to my private college to find a husband. They didn’t care what they studied since their parents were paying for an MRS degree.

So, the easiest major, with a paycheck was finding a Mr. or Mrs degree; someone who is willing to support you.
