I am trying to squeeze in AP Chem so I can take the test, but my junior year is full so I will have to take AP Chem senior year. Is it plausible that I finish the semester-long AP Chem class and take the AP Chem test. thanks.
Well an AP senior year is fine but you obviously wont have the score til May.
If for getting college credit after you are admitted, tests taken in May of your high school senior year are fine. If for submitting for the purpose of determining admission to the college while you are in your senior year, that May test is way too late.
I do not know what you mean by a “semester-long AP chem class” since AP chem is typically a one year course. Also, if what you are asking is whether you can take an AP chem test after first semester senior year, the answer is no since all AP tests are given in May annually.
