nooo holla back is an ok song cause pharell made the great beat and stefani just ruined it. id say the most annoying is the macarenanananaan song. sooooooooooo horrible

I think emo is pretty annoying, no specific song, just the genre of music.

That’s a very immature thing to say. If you’ve ever listened to Eminem or Jadakiss, you’d know that. Although I’d agree with you if you said that about Ja Rule.

Personally, I can’t stand listening to country, but im sure it strikes a chord in those who listen to it.

I’ve listened to Eminem and Jadakiss, and I think that they blow. You can’t present opinions as facts.

I’m generally inclined to agree about country, but I really like Johnny Cash.

i have listened to eminem, i’ve also wtched his music videos. So you think mooning people is mature eh? besides, his music is a bunch of racist crap. Music is a sophisticated art form. I cannot say the same for rap.

You have listened to every rapper imaginable? Or have you just listened to mainstream rappers and based off that made sweep generalizations?

Saying all rap is similar is about as sensible as saying all rock is similar.

um, i think the crazy frog wins most annoying song ever…hands down

USHER…yeah he’s the best of the black

beyonce is horrible. Usher is okay…for rap that is. Rap should not be deemed “music”. It should have a category of its own, not out of eminence, but because it’s a controversial “art” if you will that certain people feel defies the quintessential meaning of music.

Usher is not a rapper…

^lol I was about to say that… Usher’s yea song was ok at first… then it got overplayed

“who let the dogs out” has the be the most annoying song ever

i don’t agree with the generalization that all rap is bad. though i’m not a fan of all the rap that is present in mainstream music, i do like genuine rap from groups like The Roots (in their older days) and The People Under the Stairs. the rhymes they put together coupled with their beats are really something else.

and “Bohemian Rhapsody” is one of the greatest songs ever. i don’t know what could possess someone to say it’s annoying because it’s amazing when you listen to the song and suddenly realize the myriad layers that it holds. Freddie Mercury was a genius, just listen to other songs by Queen. and Brian May is a legend on guitar.

Rap:

Ridiculous Attempts at Poetry

alternatively, ■■■■■■■ attempting poetry, but I think that one’s a bit insulting

Why does everyone listen to mainstream rap and assume its absurdity applies to all aspects of rap?

Summer Girls- LFO

I’d take 2PAC or Biggie over some pop rock crap anyday.

I have to say, I really don’t like the entire idea behind rap. I’m not really into beats/rhythm combined with fast talking.

That said, I’ve heard some stuff by A Tribe Called Quest, Run-DMC, and NWA and I will admit that they’re good.

So, I can say that I don’t like all rap, but I won’t call it all garbage. Fair enough?

That is a sensible statement, ieatglue.

I never said usher was a rapper.

Eminem-Mockingbird

Listen to that–with an open mind–and maybe you’ll change your opinion. Not all rap is a mix of random words.

I was not referring to your comments. I was responding to seth blue’s comment. And yes “Mockingbird” is good. Also “Like Toy Soldiers” has meaning.
