What's the most pathetic college student you have ever met like?

It doesn’t have to be the dumbest college student you have ever met. It can also be the college student with the worst attitude, demeanor, social skills or personality type you have ever met. The type of student whose mere affiliation to the school is an insult and a shame to its faculty, staff, students and alumni.

Easy-any student wearing a “Duke” shirt.

Just kidding. :)

stupid thread, kthxbye.

well i knew this kid once, named Paul-Michael Van Dyke (we called him PMVD for short). this kid was constantly complaining everyone was condescending and secretly hated him, he would repeatedly complain online under multiple usernames. people would give him great advice, but he’d always find new things to complain about, insisting he was a disgrace and everyone hated him, and he didn’t belong in college. i felt bad for him, but quickly lost sympathy…yeah it’d have to be that kid.

To the OP: I think it is time to get off the computer and go outside.

You don’t have to socialize with anyone or anything; you can just go in the woods or in a trail and walk.

It will do you good. It is unhealthy to be in front of a computer screen all day.

If that doesn’t work, you should seriously consider therapy. You are depressed.

I don’t know about “pathetic” but I do have huge issues with people who are two-faced, evasive, and don’t say what they mean. Basically, the type of person who will hang out with someone they don’t like, pretend to be their friend, and talk trash behind the person’s back later instead of just being honest, because they don’t like confontation.

Also, people who brag about their stupidity and act like this makes them cool.

haha, aww…failthread.

The most pathetic people I’ve seen on campus are the guys/girls who get drunk on weekends (or Thursday nights) and act really belligerent. They p1ss me off so much.

I dont judge people

i can’t decide whether to say me , or my ex-boyfriend

The people that drink on school nights and are about to fail school. How can someone party with the risk of failing school (i think its ok to party on weekends) because college is such a risky investment if you live your life in this way. I wouldn’t want to owe money for college and not have a degree because thats a scary thought.

I actually feel bad for you, raefless.

Anyway, I agree with JKpoker2 in that the most pathetic kids are the ones who not only drink incessantly, especially during the week, but those who simply don’t care about their grades, and are managing a C average.

What are those people going to do after college, remiss nostalgically about how much fun getting smashed every Thirsty Thursday was?

Maybe tell their kids about it…?

^ you guys need a drink.

My life at Purdue was exactly like that. Drank every night. Miller Lite Mondays, Top Gun Tuesdays, Boxed Wine Wednesday, Thirsty Thursdays then the regular Friday/Saturday then Sangria Sundays.

This kid…or should I say middle-aged man I tutor in the lab who makes no effort in his assignments, keeps falling behind after I spent nine hours straight, in one day, making sure he caught up so he didn’t drop out of college – and then still fell behind two weeks later – and yesterday, asked me to complete his project and email it to him…and gave me a deadline.

I’m still livid with this man. It took every ounce of control to not start yelling at him. Find another tutor, the school is not paying me enough to deal with him.
