What's the most popular college at Cornell??

I know hotel is #1, and i’ve seen many CALS threads,

so what WOULD be the most popular colleges?

CALS is my first decision and hotel is my second…

hotelie…but…I love engineering…more difficult, more interesting.^^

the most popular college is actually arts and sciences. it has, compared to the other colleges, overwhelmingly too many applicants both freshmen and transfer. FYI, i made a list of college according to the # of applicants from 2007 fall semester statistics. The percentages are the acceptance rate (“#acc/#apps”)

Transfer Admission (Total Acceptance 29%)
AS 14%
ALS 55%
ENG 19%
ILR 59%
Human Eco 29%
Hotel 52%
AAP 19%

Regular Admission (Total acceptance 21%)
AS 18%
ENG 31%
ALS 23%
Human Eco 35%
Hotel 21%
AAP 17%
ILR 29%

hmmmm…aetherex, do u have an ED from 2007 fall semester statistics?

especially ENG THX!

cornell has done some pretty good jobs on admission statistics. you can find the statistics in the following link. [Cornell University Undergraduate Admissions Office - RESOURCES](http://admissions.cornell.edu/resources/parents1.cfm)

by the way, i’m so into this cornell thing because i applied for the spring semester and i’m currently waiting for the acceptance letter, hopefully.

I’m almost worrying about getting bad grades on this semester because of this. :)

best wishes

by the way, once you get into the link, click the “facts and statistics” link on the left side of the screen.

got it ! ^_^! I appreciate it!
