Whats the point of Chancing?

I hope CCers understand that the amount of time they spend on getting chanced would be much better spent on self betterment and studying. Some statistics have shown high schoolers on CC doing over 500 posts per day and reading over 1000 posts per day. Is this really as usefull as reading an equivalent 4 chapters of most textbooks? Therefore, I say that it would be beneficial to freeze high schoolers from chancing for a week. If you follow my proposition, you will see how life becomes better, school becomes easier and college admission gets a ton less stressful. Success is guaranteed by a strong heart and sharp brain, not from some prestigious institution famed as a type of leaf.

Thank you…

It’s really just for fun. I can fit it in in my busy life.

Well I agree. But you yourself are chancing so how could you make such a proposition? If you do not want to waste time chancing than you yourself stop chancing. lead by example. BTW I agree with 100% with students wasting their time.

It’s not really a waste of time, if it was a waste then nothing would be derived from doing it and by nothing i mean not even the slightest pang of joy when you see that someone thinks that you have a shot at your top choice college. Sure it is not the most useful thing in the world, but it is highly entertaining
