<p>Most people work in libraries or doing research for professors, but I bet there are some stranger ones out there. Give me your wackiest (or just most fun).</p>
<p>It’s not really “wacky”, but my first job on-campus was working as a spotter at the rock-climbing wall in the gym, teaching beginners how to climb and spotting people in case they had difficulty or fell. It was a lot of fun and I made new friends that way.</p>
<p>Care of homing pigeons.</p>
<p>One of the guides at the school I’ll go to had a work study job at a morgue, and her hours depended on when someone died.</p>
<p>Weirdest: Sorting recycling in a campus basement.</p>
<p>Coolest: Bartender in a campus bar/club/lounge.</p>
