what's your claim to fame?

ever been on tv, in a magazine, etc?

During the 1997 Indians-Orioles League Championship Series, I was interviewed by the Fox affiliate in Baltimore.

I was on a little-known Irish TV children’s quiz show called ‘The Works’ in March 1995.

i was on a kid’s television show when i was 6 in china

I was in the audience during some taked international bike race in Los Angeles that I accidentally found myself stuck in (I was looking to buy a gold bracelet).

During the Rose Bowl float parade, I was on TV several times for making floats in the background. Good times.

My brother was on a gameshow on Nickelodeon, and he said, “My sister!” and pointed to me.

I edited/directed this telelvision show on a local channel.

I was in the local paper for History Day.

lol, my brother collects this kinda stuff.

chicago tribune for spelling bee, other local newspapers for winning state history contests.

hey, I’ve never been in the paper for history day. i feel ripped off now. hehe.

ummm…
i was quoted saying something lame in a newspaper article about reforming high schools in my area.
There was a feature on the news about my school and I was in one of the shots walking down the hall. hehe.

er, maybe my 15 minutes of fame are still to come…

lol…that’s really funny. actually, they showed my losing moment on tv (on the local news channels of ABC, CBS, FOX, WGN, NBC), and the other guy rejoicing. it was between me and him, but the third place guy ended up becoming second because i messed up again. ahh well, i was so close to making it to nationals (it was my first year too), but i got over it. it’s so hard to make it from chicago because there are 8 regionals in the area with 50+ kids (mine had 100+) each. the top 3 at each event advance to city finals. at regionals, i placed third. at the city finals, i placed third again. i was pretty proud of it, especially since i had been speaking english for only a few years. i really never expected to get that far, but since i was so close, i just regret not studying early enough for it.

ryan, you’re supposed to be the one featured on major news channels with your 2nd place national medal!! hopefully, your interview with history channel would air. what was it for then?

been in some movies…filming a movie right now with meryl streep and lindsay lohan.

I was on the Ashlee Simpson show , I hugged her.

nattiebee…where do you live that you have so many chances to be an extra? (i am assuming you’re an extra…)

Was interviewed about a local school system scandal by a regional television station… been interviewed by the newspaper several times because I know one of the lead reporters so they call when they need a student’s view. Have been in the audience of a few shows but that doesn’t really count.

… nothing special. I guess I don’t really have a claim to fame!

Was electrocuted in second grade (floral wire in outlet) and that led to some semi-decent brain activity (think “Phenomenon”).

Been on the local news a few times for sports (state champions for ice hockey when our town didn’t even have an ice rink).

Been on the local news a few times for local events/earthquakes.

Had some art published and displayed in some museum exhibits.

Been on Los Angeles news (I’m from Bakersfield) for hockey.

Been on local TV when our Regional Science Bowl aired.

I was on local access programming playing in our state championship hockey game(which we lost). It’s estimated that the game was watched by 30 people- 18 players and 12 parents.

In the first few films I was in, I was a “walk-on”, a casted non-speaking role, where an extra is literally a random first come-first serve bit of background who doesn’t need an agent and doesn’t speak to the casting director(s). I was an extra in Ashlee Simpson’s “Lala”. The other films I’ve done I’ve had speaking roles, including the one I’m working on now. My family lives in WI, and I started getting into movies in Chicago. After a few years I moved to LA with my mom, and now I bounce between the two cities. Soon to be bouncing between LA and whichever city the college I pick happens to be in.

thats great nattiebee, do you want to be an actress?

been on local news for raising money for a charity

meh.

I was quoted in the New York Times about the new SAT.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Elizabeth, you play hockey? In Maine? I am… impressed.

I was born very early, and I was one of the smallest babies ever born in that hospital, and I got my picture on the front of a magazine for it, and have been on TV in fund raisers.
