What's your credit score?

I’m signed up for free at creditkarma.com, with a 707 there, starting with 643 around June/July.

Recently signed up for a 30-day trial 3-1 Equifax thing I thought I’d immediately cancel, but the wealth of info there’s cool. My FICO according to Equifax is 682.

I have a $2000 Perkins loan, and $4630 in reported student loans (but it’s really about $6000 since they don’t account next semester yet).

I just got 2 credit cards this July. Capital One, 0% until Jan09, 8.9% after, initial $500 limit, after 3 months of paying on time, they automatically bumped it to $750. I called about 4 days later, endeared them, and got it up to $1250  And another Bank of America card, 15.99% APR, $700.

:) That creditkarma site I really like. Join, tell me what you got if that’s your only method ob getting it. Tell me your credit story.

PS, my 1st card I tried to get, AMEX. They rejected :frowning: Tried again 4 months later, nope. Moral of the story, don’t aim too high :D

759, I’m 23.

I’m just a kid. Turned 18 March 08.

684 with ~2 years credit history from Equifax. Last time I checked was in August.

I tried to get an Amex IN:NYC card for my first card. Aimed WAY too high. They denied me 3 times for the blue for students card and once for the IN:NYC card before they accepted me. Apparently if I added up all the credit limits on all my credit cards, it adds up to $13,500. Chase starbucks duetto visa, $800, bumped to $1100 in a month (now it’s $2600). Rate was 24%-got it down to 12%. Now it’s embroiled in some billing problem so I don’t use it anymore. Then BoA visa-$500 at 19%. Cut up that card. Third was a discover card, $500 at 19%. Fourth was my Amex blue for students-$2200 at 15%.

EDIT: Apparently I have a 730 now according to TransUnion. No way the different formula explains the 50 point difference. Usually the difference is about 10-20 points max.

unless you get your score from MyFico.com you are getting a approximate score. The real Fico score can only be had my the real algorithm which is at myfico by fair Issac. Other scores are just guesses and interpretations to what they think the fico algorithm t5ruly is. You could get your report from any of the credit bureau and then get it from MyFico and it will be completely different even a huge difference between the two.

being a kid has nothing to do with it, ive seen 18 year olds with 800 level credit scores.
