Definitely mine is Encyclopedia Britannica. I just love that encyclopedia. I ponder purchasing a set.

What’s your favorite encyclopedia or the encyclopedia you first page through when you need to know more? or the encyclopedia that never lets you down?

Reillytheman- If you want to buy a used Encyclopedia Brittanica, check with local libraries who have book sales. Often people donate used encyclopedia sets and you can buy them very cheaply. Especially the last day of the book sale.

My favorite encyclopedia is one that has information on the world (i.e. the history of dinosaurs, etc.). I can’t remember the name for that one, though. That tells you how long it’s been since I opened my books.

My other favorite encyclopedias are Wikipedia and Uncyclopedia. The upside to both is that they are free.

why would i buy an encyclopedia? well more like a set of the encyclopedia britannica…

I would buy a set because I love the look and feel of them. I love having a hard coper laying around. I actually have some good memories associated with the Britannica set. They are rich, accredited, and true sources of academic information. I also have wet dreams about them…but anyway…

I just cried after getting to my college and opening the encyclopedia to hear the spine crack as is characteristic of new and/or never used books. it made me extremely sad…

yall should sit down and read some articles sometime; its magical!
