What school do you go to and what type of engineering are you doing? And what is your GPA? Just curious.

Thought it an oddly forward question so I gave a stupid answer.
School name, major and gpa is a little bit too much info to divulge for some of us. Based on what I’ve already posted on this forum, mentioning them would be enough for anyone whose seen my resume to identify me.

Not a huge fan of the whole divulging stats/giving private info on a random forum thing, but that may just be me. Seems on par to asking someone what their salary is.

As to why I’m browsing here, a lot of people ask questions regarding math majors here, as it doesn’t really fit into any of the categories. The other majors category me feel like a redheaded stepchild so I tend to avoid it.

^ true/valid points. Just wanted to get an idea of where GPA usually ranges for those in engineering

@angryelf: It seems like math majors get a good deal of action on the science subforum. I head there occasionally, although engineering does seem to be much more heavily frequented.

Mining → ME → switching to EE next semester I think… hah

Average sized, average “presitge”, mid-south-central state located in eastern half of US.

GPA:
semester 1 ~ 1.936
semester 2 ~ 3.385 - 3.692

** Personally, I would like for this thread to get some posts… seems kind of interesting to me. Be as ambiguous as you’d like!**
