What's your kid's junk food addiction?

For Son, it’s Cheezits. I swear I can’t keep enough in the house.

Daughter’s weakness is Reese’s. But not as fierce as her brother’s craving for Cheezits.

(Perfect people who want to post about how their kids don’t eat junk food may do so in their own thread. )

Pickles, Flakes (English candy bar), chocolate (anything).

Doritos, Oreos, Ice Cream, Gummy Bears

ice cream, cinnabon (until I learned about the fat content and stopped buying them for them!), popcorn (w/lots of butter)

For my boys, anything they can get their hands on. For me, Utz potato chips. Yum

S2: Coke Zero, Girl Scout Samoas

S1: I’m gonna guess, beer

Beer - good one, archiemom. I think I’ll amend my list. :D

Cheezits. Particularly the spicy ones with tabasco.

D1: Another Cheez-It fan
D2: Pretzels (Snyder’s of Hanover Thins)

D1-pickles, McDonalds, Twizzlers
D2-pickles, parmesan goldfish. She is my junk food kid. Loves to snack late at night. I am constantly finding the goldfish box or some other carb container on the floor next to her bed.
S- he likes his share of junk food but he doesn’t seem to have a favorite. He is my one child who will pick up an apple instead of reaching for the crackers.

D2 loves eggs daily. Egg is not quite in the junk category but nevertheless I think daily is a bit much.

S2 would eat bacon all day long if I let him. Bacon, bacon, bacon. And then some sausage, just for variety.

A big fan of the cured meats, he is.

We don’t keep junk food in the house, but my son loves Orbitz citrusmint gum. I can’t seem to find it in the local stores any more - the new flavors have psuhed it out.

This made me think of the dog treat commercial for Beggin Strips. :p

D1 - whole grain Goldfish and Bear Naked fruit and nut granola (good for you but in large amounts just as calorific as anything else)

D2 - Nonni’s biscottis, (especially chocolate and chocolate dipped) and Toaster Strudels after EVERY hockey practice

S1-definitely beer…doesn’t eat any other junk on a reg. basis which justifies the beer.
S2-junk food king…hamburgers/french fries…loves bacon on the burger if available, Pop Tarts, Choc. Chip Cookies and of course beer.

I’m thinking both of mine would argue that beer does not qualify as junk food.

S loves li hing dried mango, but it has to be the "right brand,’ which varies. D is fond of junk food in general, especially Godiva chocolates.

Both are also fond of Jelly Bellies, but they tire of that as well. S also loves caramel popcorn with mac nuts, but if he gets enough of it, he will leave it to get stale.

As far as I know, neither of my kids is fond of beer of any brand.

S1 Chips, chipcs, chips, popcorn…anything salty…and sweet, girly drinks

S2 milk chocolate…and beer

S3 tortilla chips with salsa, gummy candy…and he would add beer to sound cool but he doesn’t really like it. But he does drink milk by the gallon.

I have chocolate addicts, but they are choosy about their chocolate (Godiva will do :)). Pocky stcks and mochi ice cream are also popular junk food items.

DS - Taco Bell Cheesy Bean and Rice Burritos (eewwww!)

DD - Nonfat Chai Lattes, seriously sharp cheddar (neither is actual junk I suppose but very caloric)
