What's your major, and how did you prepare for it in high school?

<p>I hope to take as many APs, and IBs soon considering my school is introducing that program the year after next, concerning my major which is bio chemistry. Or so i hope.</p>

<p>As I have researched, Cornell has a wonderful biological engineering program, including summer programs.</p>

<p>So what’s your major, and what kind of classes did you take to prepare yourself while you were in highschool?</p>

<p>(by the way, I just realized that the message i just posted sounded a bit uptight. I am in no way a brainiac, just an overachiever.)</p>

<p>I’m a CS major and all I did in high school (related to my major) is take advanced math classes. My best advice to you is show in your essay real enthusiasm about your field.</p>

<p>i’m from texas and completed the distinguished achievement program (a bit more course requirements than regular students)</p>
