i took the intermediate math test and i got a 74. sounds bad but i don’t know if its good or not. is it out of a 100 or what? i don’t understand it. i really don’t need any math credit for my major but i was just wondering. what’s the score out of? and what’s yours?

The score is a percentage, out of 100. There are thirty questions; this probably means that you got 22/30, which is, I believe, in the range for MATH 124. My score was 30/30.

since you took the intermediate test i think your score was 26/35, so you can go into math 120.

and dr bott, i’m assuming you took the advanced test right? how did you get placed into accelerated calculus? since you got a 100% did they like pull you aside when they gave you your scroe and ask if you wanted to do the accelerated calculus, or did you ask about it?

i got a 26/30 on the advanced one so i got placed in 124, 144 or 145. anyone know the difference between 124 and the other two?

Err, yes, sorry, the advanced test. I thought that it was beginner/intermediate, and not intermediate/advanced.
