I decided to make this thread for people who want to be chanced. Just post your stats here on this thread. I feel this is more effective for chancing.

I’ll start off…my stats:

GPA: 4.2 (college GPA)

SAT superscore: 1720 (490 CR, 610 M, 620 W)

In school activities: Key Club since 10th grade (chair of senior committe and chair of fundraiser committee); NHS (inducted junior year); Mu Alpha Theta (current vice president)

Out of school: Paintball (since 9th grade); Heavy cardio and light weight training exercise (since 9th grade); 10+ years of realism, natural, and artistic drawing

(I’m currently working on getting a job lol)

Volunteer service hours: 130+

Chance me please :)

Bumpity bump

In my humble opinion, your excellent GPA of 4.2 is not consistent with a SAT score of 1720 and this may be a red flag. RETAKE the SAT or try the ACT and work on that 490 critical reading score. Good Luck !

hey sabertooth do you know if ucf has an airball or psp team? I played pretty often when I had my job.

Actually, students with high GPAs and low test scores is not a rarity. The SAT and ACT are scores you must know inside-out and must perfect them. I know students with low/average GPAs getting amazing scores, yet some top of the line students didn’t get amazing test scores. The tests and GPA are two very different things. I have already shifted my focus to ACT. I feel that will be a better test for me. Plus, a 1720 really isn’t a bad score at all. BUT, I do want to have a much better score. I’m always willing to push myself to my highest potential, and I always am pushing myself.

I don’t think so. But from my knowledge, they used to have one and now there’s a club or a new team is trying to be made. Or maybe there is already a team that was recently made. I can’t remember so well and don’t know, but I’m pretty sure there are activities related to paintball at UCF. Which is a GREAT thing!
