What's your superpower?

Not going insane despite everything in my life breaking down. The latest drama is our a/c in a Texas heat wave.

Add me to the group that’s great at trips and packing too. In my youth (before everybody always got reservations in advance via the internet) I loved spontaneous travel
I could go for months this way with a backpack and a bare outline of a plan. It was all about exploration and serendipity. My feeling was, “if I already know what’s going to happen, what’s the point?” Fast-forward to today, having brought up a daughter whose innate temperament wants structure and a degree of predictability I’ve found that I do love, love planning trips (though I refuse to schedule every hour of the day like some folks).

A couple of my trips have been made special and memorable because of CC friends who gave me an inside scoop! Kudos to all of you travelers and researchers out there!

When I worked ICU, I was called the “Foley Queen.” Meaning, I never had a patient that I couldn’t put a urinary catheter in, even people no one else could get.

Kind of a dubious honor, haha.

I’m told that I am good at building community. That was such a nice compliment.

Wow, that’s quite a superpower @DeeCee36. My hat’s off to you. I would have to post that on the “What was Something You Tried but Just Weren’t Good At” thread.

Alas, I have none any longer. Used to be a spelling whiz and fantastic with directions. No more. Sucks getting old. LOL.
