wheaton college

Dont worry, Wheaton (at least I think) isnt as hard to get into as Smith…trust me I had 2 rejections before my acceptance from Smith and i was thinking that I wont get in anywhere! I was so discouraged and stressed, but whatevers meant to be will happen…you should find out from Wheaton Monday maybe? since you live in Cali…best of luck to you  and let us know what happens!

The admitted student’s website says that there are 440 first-year places. Isn’t that high? I thought the school only had around 1550 students. The accepted student open houses will be on April 15th and April 22nd.

Hi! i, also, am waiting for Wheaton’s letter…i think I’ll find out today. i’m on Livejournal.com and a girl from Wheaton said to check e-mail bc she got an email before she got her acceptance letter (shes a freshman i think) but i havent gotten an email. think they’re doing that this year or did i just not get in?

i didnt get an email either…and I live in WMass too! When I called they said they wouldnt be sending emails or posting anything on the web…hope that makes u feel better! good luck…im waiting for the mailman now…

I GOT ACCEPTED TO WHEATON!!! the letter was dated march 24, 2005 if that helps anyone. im so happy!! so now, the total goes: accepted: Union College, Lawrence University, Wheaton College, and University of Rochester. Rejected: Carleton, Colby, BC. Happily, those are the three schools that were at the bottom of my list!! Good luck everyone

congrats!! (biting nails and still parking it by my mailbox…)

D is in, got package 3/25.

ahh… now i have to wait for 5pm mail and hope it’s in there… i don’t think i can stand to get rejected from here… not now. and thanx sara… i actually am starting to feel like just b/c one door closed, doesn’t mean another hasn’t opened. congrats to everyone who got in!!

i’ve been waitlisted. it’s not bad enough that i was rejected from smith, wellesley, tulane, and bryn mawr. they had to waitlist me. ugh!! congrats to everyone that got in.

I didnt even find out today! silly mail. Cheer up xaguamelonx, all will work out in the end :)… do you still have any other schools to hear from?

yikes. glad to hear im not the only one who is waiting to hear. but im pysched bc i got into my 1st choice (MHC) although Wheaton is 2nd choice. i cant wait til monday. this is such an exciting time.

a few. i’m pretty much through with college at this point. wait listed, rejected… ugh! it’s all like one really bad dream. i have pepperdine, howard, spelman, bradley, carnegie mellon, tufts, and university of north carolina left, but who am i kidding. i have a better shot at winning the lottery than i have at getting into any of those schools.

congrats! yeah im suprised we didnt find out today, my cousin lives in west spfld and she found out…o well like you said something to look forward to on monday!

you really never know, this whole deal is really a crapshoot. I got waitlisted at my match/safety school (Gburg) today which was unexpected, and Smith was sort of a reach/match for me…different schools look at everything differently. Dont give up!

Monday’s here…finally. Can people post their decisions, including aid packages, as they come in?–Only if you feel like it, of course.

Son accepted ED II.

Congratulations MSB! Who else?

i got my acceptance, and i was happy, but then when i read it over a second time, i realized they accepted me to the spring semester rather than the fall…whats this all about??? is it good or bad?

Squashed314, probably a snafu–give them a call and I’m sure they’ll help you sort it out.

sara306, who is your cousin? i also live in west side. jw.
