When are 2009 MIT graduate decisions expected

Hello,
When are decisions for admissions for MIT 2009 fall expected? Does it vary with department?

Does it vary for international students?

Do admission and financial decision is informed at same or there is a delay between the two?

I think there’ll be no variations at all. Just 1 or 2 days differently.

Depends on the department. I got a financial offer alongside the decision (physics). See thegradcafe or similar sites if you want to know when a particular department starts responding.

It varies entirely by department. Some departments notify earlier than others, although I imagine most acceptance notifications will be sent by the end of February.

What Mollie said. My department is expecting a prospective at the end of the week, while I found out I got in on the 29th of last year.

I’m pretty sure some people have gotten MIT acceptances for the math Ph.D. program already.

According to that  obviously, they send out acceptances in waves. My friend, for instance, has not heard back yet, but February end sounds very on the money.
