<p>While I am ok with a 233, I am worried about some of my friends who scored 211 in KY</p>
<p>I remember the official notifications of who made what this year about a month in to school. It takes a while.</p>
<p>I don’t think the state winners are announced until early October, 2015. I was able to get the national commended cutoff from this website in April or May based on the letters sent to the school.</p>
<p>Based on a quick look at my kids’ scores and the percentile chart, they seemed to have dropped slightly this go around, i.e. a score that was in the 97th percentile last year might be in the 98th percentile this year. Kentucky had a 210 cutoff this year, and the best guess is that the Kentucky cutoff will be 210 or below next year. I would rate your 211 friends’ chances as good, but there is no way to know how a particular state will go each year.</p>

<p>You do know that the percentile that was provided with the latest psat scores was the percentile based on last year’s scores, right?</p>
