When do bridges, differels, and rejections hear back?

Waiting in GA… That major only takes about 35 per year. Think it might hurt my husband’s feelings as bad as my S’s.

Well that is not good news at all. 35/year - good grief…I guess we better get ready for the rejection letter…

@lopeztlo7 I’m sorry I don’t .

Yep, S has said for years that he wanted to major in Meteorology. Clemson doesn’t have it so that is his major of interest for there. Not as bad…NC State’s meteorology program takes 25 a year.

@gaggk17 College of Charleston has a new meteorology major.

Tried tried tried to get him interested in C of C but he didn’t even want to visit. Meteorology is going to be Univ of Oklahoma, Miss State, GA Tech or UGA. Clemson was the only non meteorology school he applied to.

@gaggk17 Virginia Tech has a new Meteorology major as well. Great school (alum here). My daughter applied to VT as well. She has already been accepted to Auburn, Alabama, USC and JMU (in Va.). Waiting for VT, Clemson, UGA and UVA. Clemson is (was) her top choice…oh well. Good luck to all…

@kaylamissy what were your daughter’s stats? My D is OOS so doing the bridge would not be an option for us. Just trying to gage how to help her come to grips with a rejection

I got rejected. OOS 1300sat 4.0 unweighted gpa for marketing. Got accepted into isenberg school of management which is more selective and a better program than clemson. Will likely go there now

Isenberg school of management at umass Amherst

OOS- ACCEPTED! Just got my admissions envelope/packet in the mail. I’m from Texas for reference.

What does bridged mean?? I’m from OOS and it seems like a lot of instate applicants got ‘bridge’

@ewills145 I’m OOS too- and just got my acceptance today. You should check your mail.
Also I think bridge is for majority in state. It’s a transfer program from a technical school in SC.

Still nothing in charleston,sc!!

If you post an acceptance, it would be great for everyone’s reference if you list what major since at Clemson you apply specifically into a major and that greatly affects acceptance.

Accepted, OOS, Major: Pre Business

@lopeztlo7 , my daughter stats were in state, 4.4 weighted GPA, 1170 SAT, top 13% in her class. Did you hear anything today?

Accepted in Charleston, SC!

@SCLADY12 Honors acceptances have not come out yet. They most likely will come out this weekend. Extremely high stat students were notified starting in Late Nov, early Dec.

@lopeztlo7 for Sports Communication, not surprised at only 35 per year. I was at Fall Blitz and they said Sports Comm was the most competitive/difficult major to get accepted at Clemson. The second was Health Science, which only takes about 90 incoming freshman and 10 internal transfers per year. Good luck.
