When do colleges review applications

Hello

I haven’t yet sent my SAT subject test scores to the Ivy league schools I have applied to so have they started reviewing my file or do they start reviewing applications only after the file is complete.

Can someone please advice.

After they are done processing all the papers. If your scores don’t arrive on time, then your application will be thrown away. Some colleges do send reminders if you they are missing any items from you, check if your college does that.

most ivy league colleges (but not all) have said that they will send you an email in february if you’re missing something.

which ones are you applying to?

All of them except Cornell and Brown

My original question was do colleges start reading applications before all required parts of the application ( like SAT scores ) have been received.

I guess not as SAT100 told me.

Thanks …

Mine did. I sent in my forms which didn’t arrive until a week after my app was in and the college “reviewed” by app before the forms got there. They didn’t throw it out though cause I got in.

I’m having the same problem. So if I send in my sat scores now, will it be okay?

Depends on the school. You could just email and ask

You should just send your scores pronto, unless you think your chances are low and you are trying to save money, otherwise, you should not wait another minute.
