Do they notify one of an interview opportunity in January only?
Colleges usually notify you in January and February.
If you don’t get one, don’t fret. It generally means that there were probably too many applicants in your area to give an interview to all of you.

Same for my D regarding Tufts. No contact yet for an interview.
I applied to around 10 schools and only received offers from around 3, and the interview is offered at each one, so I think it’s pretty normal. There is no need to panic.
A princeton interviewer emailed me about interview details and asked me to suggest a starbucks. I sent him an address 2 days ago and still no response (he was responding pretty quick the day he sent the email), did he lose track of my email or something? How long should I wait to re-email him?
@archlion Wait until Monday, and if he still does not respond, contact Princeton admissions and see if they are able to get another interviewer for you.
I had this happen to me, but for another school. The interviewer did not respond for 5 days. I contacted the admissions department and the issue was resolved pretty quickly.
@archilon: don’t contact PTon admissions per @rdeng2614 's advice. They have nothing to do with assigning individual interviewers. Just be patient. You’ve got until end of Feb.
Bad advice. I suspect any interviewer who hears “X is worried because you haven’t replied yet” from the admissions office after two days is going to be less than favorably inclined towards you. Listen to T26E4.
One of my friends got an interview from X college, but I didnt get an interview offer yet?
Most of the schools D got into or was wait listed at that are better schools (in the caliber of Tufts, Duke, a couple of non HYP ivies and 1 or 2 in the top 10) she did not get offered an interview. She did get interviews at all HYPS and some ives and was rejected (she is very personable and not shy, I guarantee it was not the interview). While you should not turn down an interview without a REALLY good reason or be an SOB or a slob in the interview, it really counts for nothing.
D heard from most of her interviewers by January.
To the poster who mentioned not hearing from the Princeton interviewer, do not call the admissions office! Perhaps a week from now if you still have not heard. Try and get in touch on Monday, Was he young or older (over 40)? The reason I ask is if he is young he will know to check his spam folder if he does not hear from you, if he is older, maybe not (or perhaps the other way around!). You could also call and leave a message (VERY POLITELY) if you have a phone number.
