<p>so i’m looking for some on-campus jobs for the summer and some places have told me that they will hire me if i get work study for the 2007-08 school year.
all i need to do is find out if i’m getting work study for 2007-08 and tell them, then i’m set for the summer (woohoo)
2007-08 FA package is not available yet and i have no idea when it will be up for me to check
any continuing students out there who can give me a rough idea?</p>

<p>Re: work study, you should know based on what you got this year. It doesn’t tend to fluctuate unless your parents’ financial situation fluctuates – even then, there is almost always work-study available to those who receive at least some financial aid.</p>

<p>Not yet. I remember last year I recieved my financial aid package before the school year ended.</p>
<p>I just got mine. They reduced my Berkeley UG scholarship by $2,100 
Damn it mother, why couldn’t you just stay poor?</p>
<p>Yea about the scholarship money decreasing AND tuition raised another ~$500. I can eat out atleast 80+ times with that money!</p>

<p>How exciting. I live at the poverty level my whole life, and then my parents decide to quadruple their salary as I enter college. Went from full Pell Grant and little loan support to nothing but loans. You’d think this would be great, but 20 years of debt doesn’t suddenly disappear…</p>
