<p>DC. MD, and VA students got their letter today, expect everyone else to get it theirs on Monday.</p>
<p>Decision letters are out…we live local so maybe a couple days for those who live further.
Letter states that there were over 19,000 applicants for 1,580 spaces.</p>

<p>Keep in mind that Georgetown accepts more than 1580 kids. That’s just the ideal size of each class.</p>
<p>I got waitlisted at BC too. I was expecting a rejection from Georgetown after the letter from BC but I somehow ended up on the waitlist, which is good enough for me. So a waitlist from BC doesn’t necessarily mean a rejection from Georgetown. It just sucks that I have to wait so much more longer…</p>
<p>Yes, more than 1580 will receive acceptances b/c they know that not everyone will attend. But still, it’s selective…last year 18070 applied and 3483 were accepted and 1570 enrolled.</p>
<p>if you live on the east coast you should hear tomorrow! ahh and it may take a little while for west coasters, but hopefully you will all hear soon.

<p>I was waitlisted at BC too! So far accepted to UDel Honors Program, Penn State, Ursinus, and Villanova, rejected from UNC and UVA (my top choice). Georgetown is now my top choice but with the 2 rejections/1 waitlist so far i’m expecting the worst. Still waiting to hear back from Vandy, Richmond, Hopkins, Georgetown, UPenn, William and Mary. Hopefully at least one of those schools will accept me! I heard that the letter were mailed already. Im semi-local to the DC area hopefully i’ll have my lettter by tomorrow! :(</p>
