also, how do you hear? is it on ivy day through the portal or some other way?

You will get an email from Cornell on Ivy Day.

You will not hear from them until then. All the Ivy League schools actually made an agreement to only release admission decisions on the same day.

Actually, I am mistaken. You will hear from them on a rolling basis from April-May. I don’t think there’s a specific date, but you won’t hear before Ivy Day.
