When do they review applications for ED?

<p>I applied ED-and I know that the school requires 1st quarter grades (ours just came out and my GC is sending them). My grades were my best yet so I really need the ad com.to consider them. But do any of you know when they review the applications? I am worried that they will review my app. w/o considering my latest grades? Since the decisions come out in about 4 weeks (and next week is Thanksgiving which must cut out some days for them to review) will they still include the new grades (they are required afterall) with my app?</p>

<p>At Amherst, to recieve full consideration, your application file should be complete. I’m assuming that they will start reading the files over Thanksgiving break. If they have already made a decision before your midterm grades get there, you might or might not be out of luck. If they want to see your midterm grades before making a decision, they might defer your application to the RD round. However, if they get it before they have a chance to review your ED app, they will consider it.</p>
