<p>I know class registration opens at different dates for different students depending on seniority and Honors status, but when are those dates? Also, is it required (or just recommended) to meet with your adviser every quarter?</p>
<p>Just (very highly) recommended. No where that I know of does it list each date, but I checked the scheduling program. To give you an idea of the time frame, it told me that last year Winter quarter registration opened on 10/15/07. Spring registration opened on 01/28/08. I had honors sophomore status, so my windows opened about a day or two after scheduling began. Non-honors people scheduled several weeks later AFAIK.</p>
<p>They e-mail you by the second week of a given quarter to tell you when your window opens for scheduling the next quarter. If you’re a first-quarter freshman you have to schedule through your advisor - afterwards you can do it yourself online.</p>
