When Does it End? (Philosophical Digression)

It seems that many posting to this board are spending their high school years entirely focused on getting into college at the expense of living and enjoying their lives now. When does it end? You spend high school stressed about college, you spend college stressed about grad school, you spend grad school stressed about your job, you spend your job stressed about that promotion, and when you reach the top you cant wait to retire. When you retire you look in the mirror and wish you were young again. When did you live?
