When does school start for prep schools?

Hey guys.

I’m applying to this summer camp but their last session (my preferred session) ends on August 20th. I would hate to be accepted into a prep school and miss the first days. Do any of you guys know when school starts for the 2018 school year for these schools?

Hotchkiss
Andover
Exeter
Choate
Middlesex

There’s another session that ends on Aug. 6th for the camp so I can always take that one.

New England schools usually start around Labor Day. Some started before Labor Day when Labor Day was on the later side. You can probably find this years calendars and possibly a draft of next years on each school website. If you are a fall varsity athlete candidate there can be training camp a week or so before the start of school.

Aug 20 can’t be too late. I don’t think any of these schools would start new student orientation before sep 1.

Look at this year’s calendar and then subtract one week if you are trying out for a varsity sport.
