I scored lower than I expected on the CR portion of the January SAT and all of my incorrect answers seemed to be in passage based readings and were spread through all difficulty levels (easy, medium, and hard), so I was concerned that there was a scantron error on my test.

Also, if there was a scantron error, could I tell a college that one of my SAT verbal scores is slightly lower due to a scantron issue (even if it was my fault) in my application? I know that there’s superscore and all, but I may apply to some colleges that require all scores. My CR score isn’t terrible or anything (it’s the 25th percentile for my current top choice), but I would like some closure.

Thanks!

P.S. Sorry if my writing is incoherent. I’ve been up for more than 20 hours trying to get rid of jet lag.
