when football spectators steal your residential parking space

The parking spot for my own house that I live in! What right do they think they have?!

Call a tow truck. Problem solved! :D

Yup. Call a tow truck.

jack the rims… and THEN call the tow truck

If it is street parking, do not have it towed. If it is a reserved space, you can have it towed. However annoying it is when someone parks in the street right in front of your house, it is still the street and not your personal parking.

MD Mom, sometimes they can be parking on the street but blocking entrance into your property at the same time. That is also cause for calling a towing company.

True, and some neighborhoods require permits for on-street parking. However, the OP mentioned neither scenario.

I never understood homeowners who put signs up in the sidewalk saying “No Parking.” I always parked there and never had a problem. The police know that the homeowner doesn’t own the street. Unless permitted construction is involved, someone just can’t willy nilly decide to restrict on-street parking in front of their house.
