<p>You are free to turn down the offer just as you would any other school. It is not an offer similar to an early decision. Think of it only as a provision to your acceptance. In order to go to school in the fall semester, you’d have to do summer session. There are two summer sessions at PSU. Freshman who get admitted to the summer session are under the second session, as the first starts in May, when most are still in school. The second session starts on June 26th. This runs through August 9th. Move in day this year is August 23rd for fall semester. So there is some down time before and after, but not much.
