<p>Im a senior and I already placed in my major, but I feel to change my major to electrical eng. from computer eng. I think that electrical will probably be easier to get in than computer so I thought why not change it. I have electrical as my alternative and I see it as this. Boom days come I get denied for computer eng then I can not get into electrical because it is already filled up for my alternative. so Why not try to get into electrical in first? You know safe spot like It might give me an edge to get in there. I am talking about Cal Poly Pomona. I do not know anything about how college works in this specific region. Do they even look at the alternative?</p>

<p>You’re thinking about this too much, trying to fine tune it. The majors are so close, it won’t make a difference one way or another. Switching from Computer Engineering to English, that would have a bigger impact.</p>
