When is my degree formally awarded?

“Student records are closed to revisions in enrollment, grading, and academic actions upon award of a degree.”

I graduated in June 2011. When is the degree awarded?

I just graduated also. In about 6-8 weeks from the end of the quarter of your degree expected term (in our case, 11S), your degree is awarded and posted to your transcript. At that point your UCLA record is sealed and no further changes are possible.

I know that’s from 2008 but it’s the same as the 2011 “Guide to Graduation” I have in front of me. I picked it up at the counseling area.

Thanks, rpicton.

I have another question. After rectification of an “I”, or incomplete, grade, is it the responsibility of the student or professor to find and submit the form to have the grade changed?

some time in September, and your diploma will be available in mid October.
