When is says at least 500 word essays is 900 to much?

<p>Goucher College says 500 words minimum…so whats the maximum?</p>

<p>“In addition to the Common Application essay, please answer the following questions: In approximately 100 words describe what has motivated you to apply to Goucher College.”</p>

<p>500 is too much. I just copied that set of directions from my submitted application.</p>

<p>Unless you meant the standard essay(?) which says: “Goucher College requires the Common Application essay to be a minimum of 500 words.”</p>

<p>But I was given 500 Characters to write my Why Goucher? essay, not 500 words.</p>
