<p>Actually, most placement tests are not online and only the calculus placement test is online. If you check the testing center website, it will list all of the days that the physics placement test is offered. Usually, the placement tests are all offered one day before all SPOP dates, since I took my physics placement test a day before my SPOP date.</p>

<p>If you pass AP Lang or AP Lit, then you can directly take the courses that will fufill the Lower divison English Writing courses. Basically, you need to take the writing courses during either your first year or second year. You need to take two courses to fufill the lower division writing requirement, Writing 39B and Writing 39C, 30 or 31. The lower division writing requirement must be fufilled by your second year. I would recommend taking a Writing course at a Community College before coming to UCI since after that, you must take the Writing courses at UCI.</p>
