when making a resume, do i need to describe all of my clubs??

im using naviance right now to make a resume for a college program (it is required), and i was wondering if i should simply list my clubs or if i should add a description of each so the college knows what i do?? my school website has a club guide with all the clubs descriptions so it wouldnt be hard to do, but is it necessary?? please respond this is due at midnight

The resume typically has:

Name and identifying information on the top, some people center it

The objective: To . . . . . . . . in a . . . . environment using my skills in . . . . . . . .

Previous Experience
Safeway Sept 2014 to present
1234 Main Street
Anytown, USA
Customer Service Representative: package customer’s purchases. maintain customer areas, etc.

Education information:

your school information and any outside courses you’ve taken at a community college listed in chronological orderevious Experience

Skills Set
Cash Register experience
Microsoft office suite
Drivers license
etc.

Awards

Lastly Hobbies and EC’s

The above can be in any order, but typically the EC’s are in the Hobbies section unless it is work-related.

If the club’s purpose isn’t immediately obvious, rename the club to make it more obvious. Do not include descriptions. The only other thing you should include is the dates and either “member” or your position.
