The island could be yours, as well as up to 27 of your best friends, for just $54,500 a night – including free meals, drinks and wireless internet.

So who wants in?

( how can they say * free* meals with a straight face? )

Few summers ago, my sister had a crazy idea of renting an island off Maine for our family vacation. Of course, it didn’t cost as much as this. It also came with a cook, maids, food and wine were included (free). There was no internet, cable. We had 6 kids ranged from 10-18. By the end of the week, we wanted to kill each other.

It you want to go off to an island with anyone, better make sure there is entertainment or else you should like to spend 24-7 with those people.

I just spent a week at The Bitter End Yacht Club in Virgin Gorda, we sailed around Necker, I wish I could have seen a little more! A friend stayed there several years ago for a 50th birthday celebration, she said it was pretty amazing.

I think the parents who are launching their children into adulthood- and dealing with their own parents concerns deserve to have a little vacation & renting one of these islands sounds like just the thing!

I was attracted to my husband partially because he knew how to play & relax ( I was a little grandma) & my therapist would be happy if I rented a month in the tropics ( of course my bank account wouldn’t be)
sigh.
