Well, somebody had to make the decision to release the tape to the public. 
I would live to have heard the conversation in the squad car after they left the scene. I imagine the phrase “piece of work” came up.
Wonder whose eyes rolled more, these officers dealing with Turner, or the officers who were called to LA Fitness in that publicized incident.
No tears for having a 2016 sticker in April of 2018. But as for obscured license plate and tinted windows, people I know have been issued tickets on the road and told to move on.
I’m sure it was the combo of all three and the length of the lapse that resulted in the towing.
And they still needed Mommy to help them out?
I couldn’t bear to watch the whole thing, but I kept expecting her to ask the police officers, “Do you know who I am? DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM?”
I live in a town much like Tenafly. Our cops don’t even bother enforcing traffic violations because they’re done with getting this attitude.
They needed a ride home since the car was being impounded.
If you watch the longer tape you can hear her tell the officers that they’ve made the kids cry. Funny, everyone was calm until she showed up.
Boy, it’s truly the most entertaining 16 minutes of video I’ve seen for awhile.
How about the part towards the end when she tells the officers that she’s had the police over to her home, and her second home, and her third home…
Seriously, you can’t make up stuff this good.
After reading her statement, I’d venture to say she is not remotely embarrassed. Nor does she have an ounce of remorse.
@doschicos that was my favorite part too, and hasn’t gotten enough hatred yet.
I put it in post #6 but it didn’t get any traction.
ETA: I did some digging around and her DD is the investment banker (with Goldman Sachs) in London and she’s been out of college for over 10 years. It sort of makes the mom’s temper tantrum worse to know that at least one of the “kids” supposedly crying in the car over the inconvenience is over 30. OTOH maybe having grown up with a mom like that makes IB with GS feel like a loving and emotionally safe space?
THREE homes? I hope she filed her financial aid forms properly or the Port Authority won’t be the only ones pursuing an investigation.
To be clear, from those not from the NYC area, a commissioner for the Port Authority of NY and NJ is an unpaid , patronage position of power. Usually for campaign contributors.
^She was a Hillary fund raiser. I don’t know why Christi gave the position to her.
^She was tapped by Loretta Weinberg, a Democrat who is the NJ Senate Majority Leader. He probably owed her a favor.

I have no doubt the officers were well aware of that, too.
Politics make strange bedfellows. She likely threw some fundraisers at her second or third home.
Body camera footage would presumably be quite entertaining…
This incident is further proof of why body/vehicle cameras are so important - protecting all parties by protecting the truth.
