If a sophomore or freshman has a v. strong score on a subject test (math 2 and won’t repeat), does the score go stale? Is it good for all of high school? Also, when should the student send the score in to schools if there a few (like the local state school) that he knows he will apply to as a senior? Would it help at all to send in a good score now or just wait until senior year?
Yes. Even if he took it in middle school and told the College Board not to wipe the slate at the end of the year (as that is what the CB does with MS scores unless directed otherwise), it would not “go stale.”
