When should I start applying to it? FALL 2016

Hey guys, I wonder when I should start applying to University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign? I am applying there as a junior for electrical engineering. I am not sure whether I should apply in September (Send my freshman transcript) & then send my transcript again during Winter Break (My first semester classes as a Sophomore). or I should just start applying at Winter Break & send everything all together. Which one would make my application more competitive? and does it matter if I apply early to it?

When you apply will make no difference in the competitiveness of your application. UIUC doesn’t prioritize early applications.

For whatever it’s worth, I think starting earlier is better. This gives you more time to refine your essays and such.

Well if your trying to get into the honors program try to apply before november 1st
