when should i start preparing to transfer from uc to uc?

<p>I am going to be a sophomore in UC Riverside and I want to transfer to UCI or UCSD but i don’t know when i should start preparing?</p>

<p>the application filing period is novovember 1st - 30th</p>

<p>it’s pretty much up to you…some people start really, like now, or some people start really late. I think I started like november 27th or something</p>

<p>Also plan your courses accordingly to complete major preperation courses ( i think it applies to UC to UC transfers as well?)</p>

<p>As the GE and major prep goes, just finish your GE reqs and lower div classes (english, calculus, chem, or whatever they might be) at UCR and you should be fine. A word about UC transfer to ucsd make sure you put on the app that you want to transfer to a college that will accept your UCR GEs, because only four of the six ucsd colleges actually practice UC reciprocity. </p>
